Even though she was only just fourteen, Katie had already chosen that her life profession was to be a writer. She wrote constantly, with many story ideas plastering her room, on her computer, and stuffed in drawers and containers.

Katie wrote hundreds of pages of her material which include many poems, songs and stories but did not get to complete much of her writing. The following are just some of her works:

Children of the Dead; the first book of The Chronicles of Articia; is based on one of Katie's earliest efforts to write a full novel. Katie had hoped to become immortalized by the power of the words that she had written. This book is the first of many that will be derived from the thousands of pages that she penned before her death.
